A revolutionary new card holder is now available, at an extremely economical price.
Do you sell cards online? If so, have you ever been ripped off by someone who receives your card, switches it to one of a lesser condition, then returns a different card to you asking for a refund? With the Protech Mini Slab holder, you no longer have to worry about that happening to you.
Are you a card dealer who would like to start a small scale grading company of your own, but hesitated because of the upfront cost of tens of thousands of dollars for a machine and supplies to encapsulate cards? Now, that cost has disappeared.
Are you just looking for a better, more secure and protective method of storing your valuable cards? That day has come.
The Protech Mini-Slab Card Holder (patent pending) has just been released (July, 2004), and is available here now. Features include:
- Prevents potential fraud by exhibiting tampering to the one-way locking tabs
- Self stick "high-tack" label is included to not only identify your card, but also again to deter fraud and card switching
- Extremely durable materials protect your card from damage
- Stackable design
- No part of the holder touches the card's corners, protecting the most condition-sensitive part of any card
How to use the mini slab:
Note: You can click on any of the pictures on the right to see an enlarged view.
The holder comes in individual packages, ready for retail sale if you're a dealer. It contains 3 parts, plus the label. Inside the retail ready package, the 3 parts look like they're pre-assembled, but they aren't, they can and should be separated before using the holder.
Please consult the pictures to the right after taking the 3 pieces apart.
In the second picture, the larger piece is the holder. Just slide your card into place from the top loading slot (after taking out the Protech retail label, of course, from that slot). It won't hurt to do otherwise, but the holder is meant to have the wording "Patent Pending" on the back of the holder, not on the front.
In the middle of the top picture, you'll notice the 2nd piece, we'll call it the center hub. Slide the center hub over the top of the card holder (see picture 3), the circles on the hub should be at the back of the holder
Then take the 3rd piece, which contains the locking tabs, and slide it over the center hub, exerting enough force so that the hooks in the card holder interlock with the opposing hooks in the top piece. Once you've done that, the card and holder are locked, and cannot be opened without breaking the holder.
Picture 4 shows the completed product. You can now apply the adhesive label to your holder and you're all set.
If you look closely at picture 5, you'll notice how the hooks have locked everything in place.
Picture 6 shows the way the corners are protected, they touch nothing but air in the Protech Mini Slab card holder.
If you agree that the Protech Mini Slab is a revolutionary holder, soon to take the hobby industry by storm, be the first to get your hands on them. We have limited quantities available now, but once these sell out, I'm not sure how long it will take to restock.
